What we collect

We run privacy-respecting, first-party analytics: page views, referring site, approximate country (from request headers), device width, and clicks on outbound product links. This data contains no names, no fingerprints, and no cross-site identifiers, and is never sold or shared.

If you subscribe to our newsletter we store the email address you provide, used only to send the newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed.

Analytics

This site uses Pulse, a first-party, self-hosted analytics service operated by us. Pulse records page views, scroll depth, button clicks, and affiliate link interactions. It does not use persistent cross-site cookies. To maintain session continuity within a single browser session, Pulse stores a randomly generated session identifier in sessionStorage; this identifier is discarded when you close your browser tab and is never shared with third parties or used to track you across other websites.

We do not sell Pulse data. We do not share it with any analytics reseller, data broker, or advertising network. Ad and affiliate partners listed below may independently set their own cookies — see the Advertising and Affiliate links sections for details. A consent management platform (CMP) is planned and will be added before any behavioural advertising is enabled.

Advertising

We display ads served by Google AdSense and/or partner ad networks. These third parties may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, the destination site and/or its affiliate network may set cookies to attribute your visit and calculate commission. These are third-party cookies governed by the destination site's privacy policy — not by ours. We do not receive or store those cookies. A consent management platform (CMP) is planned; until it is live, you can opt out of interest-based advertising via aboutads.info or your browser's privacy settings.
